Dennis
(Quibbletown Val's Heritage)

This
is Am. Can. Ch. Quibbletown Val's Heritage "Dennis".
The picture at right is his Best In Show photo. On his left is
Lawrence of Limberlost and on his right Tara of Limberlost both
of them sired by him. Lawrence took Winners Dog and his litter
sister, Tara, took Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, along with
Best Puppy in Breed, judged by Mrs. Mary Crane, who introduced
the breed to North America. Mrs. Crane awarded "Dennis"
his Group First, from which he went on to Best In Show.
Quibbletown Val's Heritage then enteredr the U.S. Hall of Fame
for Great Pyrenees, one of the first Canadian Dogs to attain this
honour. Many of the best known dogs in North America have Dennis
in their background, Am. Ch. Villevieux LeRoi being one of the
most notable.
Dennis' most prestigious son was Am. Can. Ch. Le
Dauphin of Limberlost "Mike" (below), Top Dog ALL BREEDS
in Canada in 1980 - the first Great Pyrenees to reach this pinnacle.
Mike
(Le Dauphin of Limberlost)
"Mike"
(Am. Can. Ch.) won twice at Westminster, Best of Breed at a
U.S. Specialty, Best of Breed at a U.S. Supported Show from
the classes over Champions, also BOB at Canadian Specialties.
At two years of age he was fourth top dog - All Breeds - and
at three he was second (having lost his entire coat at the end
of the year) and then went on to take the covetted BEST IN CANADA
- always owner handled by Dr. Ellen Brown. He was described
by one judge as a "symphony in motion".
Riggs
(Limberlost Aristocrat )
Riggs
(Jap. Am. Can. Ch.) is a U.S Specialty Best Of Breed Winner, and
has had an excellent Show Career, including Group wins in Japan
Monty(Limberlost
Rogue )

Monty (Am. Can. Ch. Limberlost Rogue) was from my first litter,
Valkyrie and Ch. Quibbletown Thor. Monty put the breed on the
map in Canada. Prior to his time very few Pyrs were shown. He
was the first Canadian dog to capture Best of Winners at a large
U.S. Specialty, and continued to place in groups with a prestigious
show career for a Pyrenees at that time.
Tiara(Limberlost
Tiara )

Tiara (Am. Can. Ch. Villevieux Limberlost Tiara)
was the top winning bitch in Canada. She also left her mark in
the U.S. with Best Of Opposite Sex at two Large U.S. Specialties,
one under a breeder judge.
