It
is said when you look into the sparkling eyes of this magnificent
breed, you fall in love forever. Such was the case for me. The
Great Pynenees eyes express great intelligence, curiosity about
their world and supreme self-confidence. Once they bond with
you, their love and devotion also shines through.
Limberlost
was founded as a Pyrenees breeder in 1965 when I obtained my
foundation female – Quibbletown Valkyrie. Since then I
have striven to carry on the tradition of providing Pyrenees
that are true to their background – strong, intelligent,
sound of body and good temperament. Whether my dogs are used
for showing, live stock guarding or just a family pet, to my
mind, temperament is the most important quality and what I look
for above all else.
These majestic animals, that appear to float rather than walk
through this world, are a privilege and a joy to own. I know
you will agree with me and once you own one, there will be no
other breed in your life. You will be hooked, as I was.
